The SW210 AM-Broadcast Audio Processor
A first-look preview of our new AM processor, finally going into production!

Specifically, here's what's "new-and-improved" over the legendary SW200:
Independent inputs and outputs for studio-level feeds (+4dBu, XLR) and for consumer-level signals (–10dBV, 3.5mm TRS).
Improved 'gain-riding' AGC features intelligent response to both the program average level and peak content. Panel markings now indicate action to take when the AGC nears the end of its range. (AGC may be defeated from the rear panel.)
Automatic polarity inversion inaudibly optimizes the program for maximum positive-going modulation. (Func-tion may be defeated from the rear panel.)
The new variable 'Articulation' adjustment has a full range between flat response and one that favors voice intelligibility and 'talk power.'
The variable program pre-emphasis may now be defeated from the rear panel.
An adjustable bass-band turnover control helps establish best low-end effect for music, speech and mixed formats.
An extended EQ range helps to define a 'signature' sound.
A definitive readout of triband gain reduction in all three spectrum divisions.
Positive modulation peaks may now be set anywhere between +100% and +200%, with respect to –100% neg-ative peaks, with no forced negative peak clipping.
A steeper output filter has a cutoff point that is contin-uously variable between 12.5kHz and 3kHz.
And, of course, features that made the SW200 great:
Like... • Subsonic Input Filtering • 'Gated' AGC • Colorless PWM Gain Control • Zero-Latency Analog Signal Processing • Thru-Hole Assembly & Readily-Available Generic Components • And... no need to remove the cover to access jumpers!
But, if you're the inquisitive type and want a peek inside, here's what's 'under the hood':

Availability and pricing:
As of this writing (Feb. 9, 2026), the 'first unit' (above) from the pilot run has been hand-built, rung-out, optimized and finalized. All component parts have been bought and received, the balance of the pilot run only having to be farmed-out locally for circuit-board assembly. We're hoping to have the balance of this run available to ship in March.
Initially, the SW210 will be sold factory-direct at a price of $580. Once, and 'if', the unit is later sold through an eBay listing, that price will necessarily have to be a bit higher. Because there won't be eBay "buyer's/seller's protection," direct sales will incur delivery insurance cost in addition to shipping charges. These expenses will be only at our cost; we don't believe in profiting on shipping.
We are taking reservations for this first, pilot run now, but will not accept payment until the goods are ready to ship and you confirm your desire to have one. Feel free to write for any additional information, or with questions, and keep an eye on the Website as we'll be updating the info here as specifications are established and the timeline updated.
